The Member Engagement Officer is responsible is the primary service provider and first point of contact for a portfolio of member groups and stakeholders. The MEO is responsible for providing support, guidance and service to professional volunteers, office bearers and Engineers Australia Corporate ensuring that activities and events are effectively developed and implemented in line with Engineers Australias strategic plan. The role is offering an attractive base salary + Super + range of employee benefits and rewards, subject to experience!

A day as our Member Engagement Officer, could look like: Manage the programming, development, administration, and delivery of nominated EA group events Be responsible for managing Group events in our on-line event registration system. Administer the room booking system including video streaming and catering requests. Compile the weekly run sheet and supply event details to nominated Division staff members, catering and recording requirements. Regular participation in Membership driven activities Proactive Group liaison maintaining clear communication channels and strong relationships. Assist the General Manager with the administration and delivery of the Divisions annual Group Induction program.

Here's what were looking for: Excellent planning and time management skills, able to organise and prioritise work and deliver required outputs whilst tackling multiple tasks, along with the proven ability to stay calm and work under pressure. At least 2 years' of experiences within event management. Interpersonal skills ability to liaise effectively, clarify expectations and deadlines and foresee potential roadblocks, along with the ability to communicate effectively with management and colleagues. Demonstrated strong attention to detail, project coordination skills and numerical accuracy. Proven computer literacy, formatting and administration skills including good knowledge of Microsoft office suite, an ability to learn new systems, and the ability to troubleshoot basic AV issues.
