This role would suit a high performing, detail-oriented individual with proven experience in costing and pricing analysis.
Job Description
- Manage pricing databases against standards set by management.
- Maintaining standard costs of raw materials, packaging, labour/line rates and finished goods.
- Review and analyse standard costs vs actual performance and initial costings Propose amendments for discrepancies identified.
- Developing and maintaining accurate costing systems in relation to labour, production methods and material supply.
- Ensuring all costs are identified and recorded accurately.
- Provide costing, pricing, margin analysis for Business & New Product Development Managers.
- Review and manage price change recommendations for contract customers, justified by material increases.
- Negotiate and apply costing and publish pricing to internal and external customers as requested.
- In conjunction with the procurement team negotiate/confirm current pricing and terms for materials.
- Develop costing and pricing models.
- Ensure customer satisfaction through continuous measurement of turnaround times on costing requests.
- Using analytical skills to determine the correct process to build accurate pricing for each unique price agreement.
- Understands the complexities of different pricing structures and continuously look for opportunities to improve processes.
- Partnering with the business to determine and implement process improvements.
- Identifying improvements in the current systems and opportunities to automate and streamline processes.
- Compliance and comprehensive knowledge of company policies and support to achieve company quality goals.
- Co-operate with management in all aspects of safety as is necessary, ensuring compliance with any requirement under the OH&S act.
- Assist management of continuous improvement process within division under your control, creating a safe work environment.
The Successful Applicant
- Manufacturing or FMCG experience.
- Advanced skills in excel
- Power BI experience in developing reports/assisting in the report/dashboard development (preferred)
- Outstanding communication skills.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills in environments of high uncertainty
- Ability to work in fast-paced environments.
