Our state of the art facility in partnership with GenesisCare offers the first digital PET-CT scanner in Western Australia aswell as advanced SPECT-CT and Theranostics services for both local and international patients. This facility is also now undertaking part in various ground breaking clinical research trials. In addition, this position is required to work at a second site located within the St John of God Hospital in Subiaco thereby guaranteeing variety in your working week.
Reporting to the Deputy Chief Operations Manager, the Nuclear Medicine Manager takes responsibility:To facilitate the smooth and efficient operations of SKGs NM Department. To work closely with GenesisCare to ensure the smooth operations of the Joint Venture between SKG and GenesisCare. To lead the NM team to consistently produce quality results; maximising workflow, staff productivity, using resources efficiently, and ensuring referrer service and patient care are given high priority.To model and place into practice every day, SKGs Code of Conduct.
The successful candidate will have:Relevant Nuclear Medicine Technologist qualifications Demonstrated experience of at least 5 years as a Nuclear Medicine Technologist in a range of modalitiesCurrent registration with AHPRA Medical Radiation Practice Board of AustraliaCurrent Radioactive Substances licence from the WA Radiological CouncilDemonstrated effective experience leading and managing staffExcellent knowledge and understanding of Nuclear Medicine technology and applicationsDemonstrated time management, planning & organisational skillsDemonstrated computer literacy skillsDemonstrated effective conflict resolution skillsDemonstrated effective negotiating and influencing skillsDemonstrated experience and skills in the use of the Microsoft Office suiteDemonstrated interpersonal and communication skills Demonstrated written and oral communication skillsCapacity to consult and network with internal and external stakeholders
Please note that the successful candidate is required to provide evidence of vaccination/immunity/screening to a list of vaccine-preventable diseases prior to commencement of employment.
This position is Full Time - 80 hours per Fortnight,
currently working 8 hours per day, 5 days per week across the sites mentioned above.
