Randstad has partnered with a Victorian Transport Consultancy in their search for an 'Advisor', specialising in commercial roads (Toll Roads).

Key Responsibilities include:
- Undertake detailed analysis of data sets (e.g. traffic demand, travel times, revenue) and prepare analytical results to support project activities (e.g. charts, presentations, briefing materials).
- Work closely alongside other advisor's under the direction of senior advisor's to integrate multi-disciplinary inputs where required.
- Author advice to a high standard including preparation of reports, briefings, presentations and other deliverables to both internal and external stakeholders/clients.
- Assist in the delivery of advice to our clients, including by attending and supporting presentations and workshops chaired by the company.
- Support project management / administration and Quality Management System functions as required.
- Foster and maintaining strong client relationships through delivery excellence as well as continuing relationship management activities.
- Assist in business development activities where required, such as identifying potential project opportunities based on professional networks or working with other staff to prepare proposals for project opportunities.
- Work with other senior team members to identify and undertake marketing and brand-building activities for the company.
The successful candidate will have:
- Minimum 3 years experience in the infrastructure sector
- Previous experience in analysis of traffic data and demand modelling outputs (volumes, travel times, tolled transactions and revenue)
- Strong numerical / analytical / problem solving capabilities, including spreadsheet analysis, researching and development of presentation material
- Previous experience in revenue modelling, including developing and interrogating revenue models
- A strong understanding of commercial transport infrastructure, toll roads, road pricing, traffic demand and performance management frameworks
- Experience in the tendering/development/procurement phase of major transport projects
- An understanding of commercial frameworks commonly used on transport infrastructure projects
- Experience with PPP projects or infrastructure asset sales
- Demonstrable success working closely with public sector transport agencies in the development or delivery of major projects
- Ability to work across both commercial and technical environments
- Well-developed verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to work with staff at different levels across organisations to deliver concise, authoritative, high quality written material.
- A strong attention to detail and an enduring focus on producing high quality deliverables for our clients.
- Demonstrated ability to develop constructive relationships together with the ability to prepare and deliver briefings and presentations with internal and external stakeholders within constrained timeframes.
