Job summary
The OpportunityWe are seeking a Supply Chain professional to join our Planning & Purchasing management team as a Purchasing Coordinator. This role is pivotal in executing existing programs and new business campaigns. The Purchasing Coordinator is an exciting opportunity for the right individual to lead a team of purchasing specialists in executing daily activities encompassing; purchase order management and execution and purchasing reconciliation within our programs and the broader BDA/ BAH organization. This is a critical role ensuring our programs continue deliver to plan.
Responsibilities Complete high-level aviation and non-aviation purchasing tasks including processing, movement and tracking of purchase orders until fulfillment. Data management and perform updates of databases for reporting to project and business management ensuring data integrity and timeliness. Work within a team environment supporting key program stakeholders Supplier management ensuring On Time Delivery
Experience/Qualifications Previous experience in Purchasing and Supply Management in aviation and/or Defence environment Demonstrated high level of integrity and procurement ethics. Ability to work independently and produce a high standard of work. Experience in using Oracle ERP (desirable). Applicants must be Australian Citizens to meet Defence security requirements.
