Queensland Bulk Terminals Pty Ltd is located on the Brisbane river at Murarrie, our large site deals in the import and export of bulk grain and bulk liquid products and we are one of Australias state-of-the-art and most efficient terminals.

YOUR NEW DUTIES;
- Receiving Bay Operator Receiving grain trucks and tipping them over a grate.
- Sample Testing Operator Spearing and testing grain trucks to ensure they meet GTA (Grain Trade Australia) standards.
- Sample Computer Operator Confirming trucks details and entering quality data. Coordinating truck movements on our 20 acre site.
- Tank Farm Operator Loading and unloading of bulk liquid trucks.
- General on site labouring General tasks across the site. Mustnt be afraid to get dusty
- Front End Loader Operator Using a FEL and push bar to build a quality grain stack.
- Forklift Operator Standard 3mt forklift for general use.
- Loading and unloading of grain and bulk liquid vessels. Roles range from being a ship loader operator to controlling hoppers in a tunnel.
- Frequent manual handling of up to 25kgs
- Site cleaning - Ensure QBT meets our export license standards. Audited by the department of agriculture.
YOUR NEW ROLE;
Shift times: Must be available for day shift (5am-1pm) and afternoon shift (1-9pm) plus regular overtime. We also run 12hr shifts for grain vessels.
Labourer pay rate: $32.14 + OT
Front End Loader pay rate: $34.94 + OT
Opportunity to go permanent for the right person and support in getting any tickets or certificates you may require.
YOUR EXPERIENCE;
- Have LF and FEL Ticket
- Physically fit and happy to perform labouring duties as required
- Car and licence to get to and from work as there is no public transport available
- Must be able to pass a drug and alcohol test
- Experience with Microsoft office and emails
