Randstad is currently working with a high profile government department. Due to growth and the continuous drive to deliver outcomes and large scale capital projects for the people of South Australia, they are seeking a Contracts Administrator for a 12 month basis.

This is a role where you will be able to achieve outcomes on projects that truly add value. You will work alongside experienced construction industry and government professionals.

Key responsibilities:

- Tender administration including preparation, issue, evaluation, recommendation and award
- Review and management of commercial issues throughout the tender process
- Instigate and sustain mutually be beneficial stakeholder relationships and work collaboratively with project managers, procurement and finance
- Assist procurement with sourcing, approach to market and negotiation
- Ensure suppliers, partners and internal stakeholders are adhering to high levels of delivery and probity
- Assist with commercial functions, such as insurance, risk, audit

The successful applicant will require:

- Tertiary qualifications in business or related field beneficial but not essential
- Minimum 2 years experience in post tender contract administration, and ongoing contracts and supplier relationship management from either legal or procurement background
- Demonstrated commercial acumen and ability to provide guidance to stakeholders
- Negotiation abilities and track record of working collaboratively to achieve successful project delivery
- This is a 12 month contract position with potential for an ongoing role
- You must be located in Adelaide
- Hourly rate is negotiable depending on level of experience
