job detailsRandstad Data & BI are currently working with a fantastic Government department to find a Report Designer/Developer to lead the design of all new reports being generated with the business. This role is a 9-month contract with extensions.
The Role:
- You will be an experienced Reporting designer and developer, used to working collaboratively with Business Analysts and Subject Matter Experts in a project environment to produce user-friendly and productive reporting solutions
- You will have hands on experience with business intelligence and analytic reporting tools, for example PowerBI, SAS or Tableau as well as a detailed knowledge of SQL
- You will be experienced in translating business and technical requirements to design and development of reports and associated interactive dashboards
- You will be adaptable in applying your skills to different organisational contexts, and comfortable liaising with business and technology stakeholders, often acting as a bridge between business, technical and vendor stakeholders.
Necessary Skills:
- 5+ years experience in designing and developing reports and associated dashboards
- 5+ years experience with business intelligence and associated visualisation tools, for example PowerBI, SAS, or Tableau
- 5+ years experience with SQL
- Knowledge of Confluence and Jira will be highly regarded
- Knowledge of PL/SQL, stored procedures, triggers will be highly regarded
- Relevant industry qualifications and certifications
