Located within Melbournes CBD, this role is working with a leading banking and insurance provider who are passionate about providing the best possible employee experience. This organisation holds a strong reputation for providing both an exceptional customer and employee experience.
Your New Role
This is an exciting role for someone who has a true passion for delivering excellent customer service. As a call centre operator, you will work within a phone-based environment responding to general customer enquiries. In addition, you will be responsible for accurately recording communication between yourself and the customer for future reference.
This is a full-time 6 month contract with possibility of extension. Part-time positions are available as well.
How you will contribute
- Communicate and negotiate with policy holders to resolve overdue accounts
- Following up to ensure commitments made by clients are met
- Conduct accurate data entry with attention to detail
- Display a strong work ethic and a genuine desire to assist others
What you will bring to the team
- Extremely clear and high level communication skills
- Fantastic customer service and ability to deliver positive customer experiences
- Ability to manage a high volume of calls and low-complexity tasks
- Ability to avert, manage and escalate conflicts as required
- Able to understand and translate complex information to others in a simple, effective way
- Knowledge of insurance or financial services is desirable but not essential
