About Our ClientWork for a high-end property group headquartered here in Sydney, our client has investment in hundreds of properties across Australia with a trading portfolio worth close to $800M.
This role would suit a high performing, target-driven individual with strong experience in a Finance Manager or Financial Controllership position, who is looking to enter a high-end property business and is interested in a transition from a senior role into a new challenging, stand alone role where you work with like-minded individuals.
An ideal role for a senior finance professional looking to take a step back and have greater work life balance yet still be remunerated above the market rate.
Job Description
Management and Financial Reporting
- Coding & processing receipts
- Coding & processing receipts for all Share Purchases, Sales and Income Receipts
- Processing Visa payments
- Weekly Invoices review
- Update OCR Cost Allocation by House Schedule Monthly & Selling Costs
- Review Money Market Schedules & update Interest accruals on Monthly basis (required for IAS)
- Money Market Deals (as required)
- Update all Local Dividends Schedules for all Companies including Franking Credits on monthly basis
- Update Monthly Share Portfolio Movement Transfer
- Management Reporting - monthly reporting
- GST, IAS and FBT compliance
- Year End Financial Reporting
- Liaison with Auditors for all Groups and provision of all reconciliations and supporting workings for financial reporting including tax calculations.
- Resolving all queries and provision of additional information if required
- Consolidated Financial Reporting
- Consolidated Tax Return
- This includes provision of all supporting documentation incl Tax Statements and Depreciation and Div 43 Schedules as required.
- Annual Tax Settlement Reconciliations & Payments for all Groups
The Successful Applicant
- Degree in Finance or related field
- CA qualification preferred
- 8+ years experience minimum in a senior finance role
- Experienced professional with consolidated financial reporting & tax compliance
- Excellent communication, presentation, and collaboration skills
- Advanced in Excel and Microsoft office.
