Job Description
- Assist with the preparation of Full Year and Half Year financial reporting for the ASX listed parent company, including the consolidation and note disclosures
- Assist with the preparation and lodgement of all statutory financial statements and tax returns in accordance with required timelines
- Assist with forecasting and day to day management of group cash flow and currency requirements
- Assist with the management of the group insurance program, including the addition of new stores to the policies and the provision of information for policy renewals
- Assist with the management of all company secretarial requirements of group subsidiary companies in conjunction with external advisors
- Assist with applications for and compliance with store licensing requirements
- Assist with month end accounting for accruals and prepayments
- Assist with month-end reporting and review of results
- Preparation and/or review of GL reconciliations
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate must be technically strong and have excellent interpersonal skills. They also have:
- Tertiary degree level qualification specialising in Accounting or Finance;
- CPA / CA qualification;
- Advanced MS Excel skills;
- Experience in a Big 4 or mid-tier chartered accounting environment;
- High attention to detail.
