The Position
Due to movement in the business, SEA Gas are looking for an experienced Senior Project Manager with a background and detailed experience in pipeline infrastructure, construction, operations and maintenance. Ideally someone who has managed projects from start to finish including: scope of works, risk management, engineering oversight, procurement, contractor management, quality, managing change, budgets, schedules and reporting and operational handover.
About you
SEA Gas are looking for a Senior Project Manager who is capable, driven and collaborative; that can manage fluidly across multiple diverse projects whilst building strong rapport with those around them and keep a high level commitment to safety. They are looking for someone who has succeeded in a similar role previously, who has experience in Oil & Gas pipeline infrastructure, construction and operations and a sound understanding of Australian standards, codes and legislation.
Qualification, Experience and Requirements
- Degree in relevant Engineering discipline eg. Mechanical, Chemical, Electrical, etc.
- Circa 15 years project management experience in pipelines or pressure equipment
- Engineers Australia's Chartered Status (CPEng) Advantageous
- Relevant Business and/or Management qualifications advantageous
- Proven ability to manage technical projects
- Demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage technical contracts;
- Risk Management and understanding of Quality Management Systems
- Strong technical and project cost reporting skills
- Ability to problem solve, troubleshoot and work under pressure
- Strong communication and rapport building skills both verbal and written
- Be located in or willing to relocate to Adelaide, with Australian work rights
