The role

The TAFE SA Procurement and Contracts management team is on a journey.

This re-energized team come from diverse industry backgrounds and display a genuine openness to fresh ideas and contemporary practices in procurement and contracts management. They are seeking a highly reliable individual with superior attention to detail, to provide high quality support to the Procurement and Contract Management function that ultimately delivers value to TAFE SA

This role is a unique opportunity to work on delivering key projects and driving TAFE SA forward in their strategic plan. With a growth mindset, you will contribute to real change within the community and join a team focused on building positive relationships and empowering their people. You will work with a supportive manager and enjoy career development opportunities and successes across the short, medium, and long term.

Your new role will involve:

- Coordination and preparation of critical compliance reporting and dashboards.
- Data gathering and simple analysis to contribute to strategic procurement planning.
- Responsible for the provision of contract management and/or contract administration/monitoring services for low value, low risk procurements.
- System administration of key Procurement & Contract Management systems.

- The procurement and contracts management team are varied in their experience and tenure at TAFE SA - you will work alongside recent joiners, and long-tenured staff, who come from a diverse industry background, such as state and local government, energy, Defence and manufacturing
- You will work with varied and high value contracts, adding diversity to your knowledge base and existing contracts management skill set

What you will need to apply:

- Experience in undertaking research and analysing data such as spend patterns, financial accounts and/or supplier performance in a clear and concise manner to support decision making.
- Experience in managing multiple priorities and making choices about time allocation whilst maintaining customer satisfaction.
- Experience in the use of an enterprise resource planning system, and general computer software (e.g. Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Ability to anticipate potential problems and to redesign processes and systems so as to minimise their reoccurrence.
- You will be a community minded individual, passionate about ensuring the delivery quality education for TAFE SA students
- Demonstrated stakeholder relationship management skills, to proactively engage the wider department, and to achieved contract outcomes
