Job Description
As the HSEQ Coordinator, you will be liaising daily with customers and their contractors from small to huge global juggernauts on their HSEQ and contracting requirements for Australia and New Zealand from your own home or office.
Once you have completed your on-boarding and training, some of your daily tasks will include:
- Facilitate desktop audits of health & safety programs.
- Coordinate and suggest process improvement initiatives
- Provide safety-related technical support to clients
- Participate in various research activities, and attend workshops and forums to stay up to date with current regulations
- Support, research and develop various resources and reference documents for clients, including CI-focused initiatives to conform to ISO 9001, ISO 27001 +
This is a fantastic opportunity to take your passion for safety along with your on-site experience and become a hands-on advisor to multiple companies and contractors across various industries.
The Successful Applicant
You take safety seriously, you have hands-on experience ideally from a construction, mining, oil and gas, manufacturing or similar high-risk industry and would love to move into an office/hybrid role where you can use your passion for safety to work with clients and their contractors, ensuring all HSEQ requirements are managed effectively.
You will also have:
- Bachelor's degree or higher in WHS, Safety, Environmental or similar field (Cert4 in WHS + at least 2yrs practical experience is also considered)
- High attention to detail, reviewing and putting together technical and compliance-related documents.
- Professional communication and the ability to present to clients.
- Ideally 1-2 years of hands-on experience in a site-based safety role
- Proficient computer skills, including Microsoft Suite and the ability to use current technology, ERP's
- Any auditing experience will be highly regarded.
- Ability to build relationships and excellent stakeholder management.

From managing contractors, and clients, updating the high-tech systems, entering the data, researching, and reviewing current documents, legislation, regulations and being seen as the HSE expert who can provide advice, suggestions and be hands-on with contractors and companies to ensure accurate advice, compliance and most of all, safety.
