Role: Business Development Manager

As an Business Devbelopment Manager , you will take charge of expanding and managing the wallet business in the Australian market, with a particular focus on synergizing it with our global payment platform in foreign exchange. Based in our Sydney CBD offices, your responsibilities will include:

Key Responsibilities:

- Business Expansion and Relationship Building

- Build trust and robust relationships with senior leadership and decision-makers within the companys top customers in Australia.
- Identify valuable insights, develop strategic partnerships, negotiate and finalize contracts, and oversee the seamless execution of projects.
- Understand business strategies and leverage innovative business models and products to secure partnership agreements and drive positive business outcomes.

- Payment Solutions and Innovation

- Collaborate with our global payment platform teams to create payment solutions that enhance customer experiences and drive product innovation.
- Facilitate commercial deals and partnerships between us and our customers.

- Global Payment Platform Synergy

- Work closely with our global payment platform team to align our wallet services with our FX payment solutions, offering a seamless financial ecosystem for our clients.
- Identify opportunities for cross-platform business growth and continuous enhancement of existing partnerships.

- Analytical and Strategic Leadership

- Demonstrate a highly analytical and strategic approach, seamlessly transitioning between strategic planning and day-to-day tactical operations.
- Utilize your expert communication and presentation skills to convey complex ideas effectively.

Job Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or higher education.
- Extensive experience in the Australian payments industry (5+ years), with a deep understanding of various payment roles, including customer payment, acquirer, payment processor, card schemes, etc., spanning multiple industries.
- Highly motivated and adaptable team player, comfortable working across all levels of business.
- Proficiency in both English and Mandarin Chinese (written and spoken) is essential.
- Strong command of tools such as PowerPoint and Excel for data analysis, as communication with Chinese counterparts is required.
- Proven track record of negotiating win-win situations in deal-making.
- Demonstrated expertise in stakeholder management at all levels.
- Knowledge of O2O Marketing or internet/ecommerce/cross-platform business models is advantageous.
