Job Description
- Support the finance function in all end-of-month processes to meet required deadlines.
- Assist the Financial Controller in identifying areas for continuous improvement.
- Assisting in the preparation of financial statements, budgets, and forecasts.
- Provide assistance to accounts payable and receivable functions.
- Assisting in the management of cash flow and bank reconciliations.
- Maintaining accurate and up-to-date accounting records.
- Maintain fixed asset register, process asset capitalisation and disposal transactions.
- Provide support in preparation of both internal and external audit.
The Successful Applicant
- The perfect candidate will be a dynamic individual and make this newly created role their own.
- You are a motivated individual with the ability to demonstrate initiative and communicate with senior leadership.
- Tertiary qualifications in relevant field (Commerce/Accounting)
- Studying towards CPA/CA/CIMA/ACCA or similar relevant body.
- 3+ years' experience within an Accounting role.
- Epicor experience would be highly regarded, but not essential.
- Strong use of Microsoft Excel functions.
- Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
