About the RoleWe are currently seeking a Full-Time Service Technician based in NSW at our Singleton workshop. Your duties will include but not be limited to:Assemble, install, test, and maintain waste management equipment (shredders, balers, and compactors)Diagnose malfunctioning systems, apparatus, and componentsFault finding and repairs identify hazards & defectsPerforming scheduled and emergency maintenanceBe competent in the use of workshop equipment and toolsMaintain a clean and safe worksiteCarry out written service reportsBe available to travel to sites with stayovers on occasion

Skills, Qualifications, and Experience Electrical and /or hydraulic aptitude with at least 2 years experience in related Hydraulic and Electrical industry, basic tools to carry out the roleWell-developed diagnostic skills in Electrical, Hydraulic, Pneumatic and Mechanical SystemsAbility to understand and interpret technical drawings and schematicsWell-developed written and spoken communication and presentation skillsAbility to generate rapport quickly, establish good working relationships and to understand, interpret and respond clearly to othersAn outgoing personality that allows the individual to confidently make contact by telephone and conduct personal meetings with people not previously knownAbility to undergo and satisfy all site requirements including, but not limited to site medicals and police clearancesEffective time management and organisational skillsAttention to detail with respect to paperwork processingWell-developed IT skills, particularly in the use of Microsoft OfficeThe ability to adapt to rapidly changing scenarios, particularly in regards to ad-hoc and changing travel itineraries.Highly developed work ethic, a can-do attitude of constant improvement and a customer-centric focus.The ability to work effectively in both solo and team environments, in varying scenarios.Completed and passing our recruitment process, which may include a medical screening with drug and alcohol testing.
