About Our Client

As a large stationary retailer the customers, the team, and community are the heart of this business. They are looking for an Internal Communications Coordinator to join their People Team and support the Internal Communications Manager. Based in East Bentleigh,they offer the flexibility of remote working allowing you to have your work life balance.

Job Description

The role of the Internal Communications Coordinator is to assist with the implementation of internal communications strategy ensuring team members are informed, engaged and empowered about the business purpose, vision and strategy.

- Draft and edit key communications including weekly newsletters, operational and trade updates and messages from senior leaders as advised by the Internal Communications Manager
- Administration and moderation of internal photo and video library
- Assist with script writing, shot listing and coordination of filming
- Manage the day-to-day administration of the communications calendar to ensure it is updated and aligned to business priorities
- Proactively build strong and positive relationships with key stakeholders and functions to ensure timely, aligned and effective internal communications

The Successful Applicant

The successful candidate will need to have 2-4yrs experience in a similar role and a tertiary qualification in communications, public relations or similar.

- Excellent communications and editing skills - interpersonal, written and presentation
- Ability to successfully engage with a large and diverse network of internal stakeholders and external suppliers
- Produce work of a high standard and to strict deadlines
- Strong knowledge of MS Office, Adobe Creative Suite, MS Sharepoint and Social media platforms
- High energy, self-motivated and a driven positive attitude
