Job Description
The key duties of this position include:
- Lead the development and implementation of communication, engagement, change and media strategies for external audiences.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of content across a wide range of internal and external communication and engagement channels.
- Provide high-level communication, engagement and issues management advice to senior management and business areas.
- Assist the Director in team management and team planning.
- Develop and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders.
- Provide a broad range of communication support including strategy development, issues management, event management, reputation management and media liaison.
- Deliver high quality outputs including media monitoring, media releases, talking points and speeches, editorial, media responses, issues analysis, media briefings, communication strategies and online content including social media.
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate will have proven experience in a similar role and also hold:
- Satisfactory completion of an Australian Federal Police criminal check
- WWCC
- Completion of a medical declaration
