Job summary
A.D. Engineering International is looking for a universal engineering-minded type person to assist the production team. The applicant would need to be capable of understanding, at an production/manufacturing level, assembly techniques and be able to assist the team with the various projects that are being worked on at any one time.The position is essentially a support role, ensuring that all the ancillary tasks (documentation, quality control, questions and decision making) are done to allow the team to be more effective. The role will be challenging due to the variety and multi-disciplined nature of the job. We would expect the successful applicant to have the following skills;High degree of English literacyGood inter-personal communication skillsFirm electrical/electronic understanding (Wiring diagrams, assembly techniques, cabling and terminating processes and general mechanical)Ability to operate and use basic test equipmentExcellent computer/software skillsGood problem solving skillsWell developed organisational skillsExperience with handling small teamExperience in a workshop environmentExcellent communication skillsAbility to multi-task
Additional skills would be desirable, such as;Fork TicketElectrical/electronic trade experienceElectrical ticketSite experience
