About the Role:

WorkPac are seeking an HSE Coordinator to join our client on a FIFO 2:1 Roster from Perth. A great opportunity to promote compliance and provide recommendations for HSE improvements.

Duties and Responsibilities:Promote and monitor safety complianceProvide recommendations and advise for on site for HSE matters and improvementsEnsure safe systems of work are established and projects are performed safelyLead and manage project risk documentationMentor site personnel of safety and risk management processes and toolsConduct risk audits, inspections and safe work observationsLead reporting and investigations of HSE incidentsCommunicate & consult with workplace Health & Safety Representatives (HSRs) on HSE matters and facilitate review meetings Develop and communicate HSE information for prestart & tool-box meetingsMaintain current knowledge of HSE related legislation

Skills and Experience:Proven experience within a relevant Health and Safety positionCertificate IV - Occupational Health and Safety (Minimum)Current first aid/CPR certification - (HLTAID003 Provide first aid)Well-developed knowledge of OH&S legislation, Codes of Practice and Australian StandardsAbility to work confidently with individuals, teams, and leaders on HSE issuesGood communication skills both verbal and written in order to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders Current Australian 'C' class driver licenceMust be either an Australian Citizen or a holder of an Australian permanent residency visa to be eligible to apply for this position
