About the role:
We are seeking experienced High Reach Operators to join our team in Minchinbury. Were looking for someone who thrives working in a team environment where open communication is encouraged and WHS is at the forefront of their mind.
Role: Forklift Operator
Hours: Casual - up to 40 hours per week
Shift times: morning, afternoon/night shifts available
Main accountabilities:
- Load, unload, move, stack and stage product and materials using a high reach forklift, or other non-specialised materials handling equipment
- Maintaining the facility's equipment in a neat, clean and orderly fashion
- Preparation of freight with all appropriate paperwork ready for handover and delivery, including weighing and cubing functions
- Storage system, information input/retrieval system, warehouse/transport management system
- Assist in physical inventories and ensure proper stock rotation
- Keep appropriate records and reports to guarantee that tight inventory control and security are maintained
- Storing and packing of goods and materials in accordance with appropriate procedures and/or regulations
- Unload inbound shipments safely and efficiently move products to storage locations
- Preparation and receipt of appropriate documentation including liaison with suppliers
- Put away, replenishment and retrieval of goods to and from specific warehouse areas
- Operation of non-licensed equipment and manual tasks associated with packaging operations
Requirements:
- Unrestricted working rights in Australia
- Valid LF license
- Availability to work up to 40 hours per week (as a casual)
- Be able to pass a full medical clearance check
- Able to work independently and in a team environment
- Undertakes duties in a safe and responsible manner
- Possesses basic interpersonal and communication skills
- Basic PC operation
Successful candidates will need to complete the following:
