job detailsRandstad Technologies are partnering with a Queensland Government business unit in the search for multiple Data Analyst candidates. You will be responsible for providing business intelligence to our clients management for operational reporting. Working as part of a team of analysts in the Performance Reporting and Analysis area, you will also provide analysis at a strategic level.
Key duties and responsibilities of the role will include:
- Analyze data and report on key areas of our clients business including operations and policy.
- Undertake data mining, mapping, warehousing and tracking while identifying trends and patterns that add value to the Business Intelligence (BI) data.
- Research, design, build, test, and implement solutions utilizing Microsoft Excel, Access, Power BI and SQL server.
- Research BI data to find solutions to the policy and business issues applying statistical, mathematical, analytical, problem-solving and evaluation techniques.
- Design and build professional reports through consultation with senior management, policy officers, operational managers and staff.
- Quality check and validate that the BI reports, data, system and information requirements meet standards of accuracy, auditability, completeness and relevance as defined by the end user.
