Pharmacist Manager Package Circa 150KTom Price Guardian Pharmacy is located in the spectacular Pilbara at the base of the Hammersley Ranges. The town is a hop, skip and a jump to the spectacular Karijini National Park, Western Australias second-largest national park, ranked in the top 5 visitor experiences for the state.
The town of Tom Price supports Rio Tintos iron ore mining operations located just outside the township. The region is served by an airport which is situated 70km from Tom Price, only a few minutes from Paraburdoo.
Our community pharmacy is located at the main shopping centre along with Coles, Brumbys Bakery, Mitre 10, Betta Home Living and a number of cafes and restaurants. The community in Paraburdoo is strong and cohesive. You will always see the community out playing sports, at the outdoor cinema or one of the other community events happening. Due to Rio Tintos ongoing investment in Tom Price, the facilities and amenities are exceptional.
There is an excellent fitness centre in town with extended opening hours and group fitness classes, even for kids. The outdoor swimming centre has been named once of the best in Australia (number 10!). The town has a primary school, high school and childcare centre. The Karingal Community Centre is a popular meeting place and hosts a raft of events including fitness classes, yoga, kindy gym, community morning teas and has an op shop. In the same area there is also a library which is spacious and great for both adults and kids.
Tom Price has a plethora of community sports with a golf course, bowling club, indoor cricket nets, basketball stadium, Aussie Rules Football club, tennis, softball, baseball, netball, rugby and touch rugby amongst others. The clubs also have ongoing social events open to the broader community.
There are several cafes and restaurants including the Pickled Bean and the Karijini Cafe, a permanent Chicken Treat food truck, the Windawarri Lodge, the Mountain View Sporting Club, the Red Breeze restaurant serving an impressive selection of Asian cuisine and the Tom Price Hotel which has some excellent food and beverage options.
The successful candidate will have air-conditioned accommodation in a fully furnished, 3-bedroom, 1 bathroom home that is walking distance to the pharmacy. There is also a vehicle available for use.

About the Role:
We are seeking a full-time Pharmacist Manager (either experienced or new to the role). As Manager, your responsibilities would include dispensing, ordering, counselling, medscheck, diabetes checks and vaccinations.
You must have QCPP compliance experience, be immunisation trained or willing to learn. You will need to be able to use Minfos and work independently
