My Federal Government agency is seeking a suitably qualified APS 6 Senior Procurement Reporting offer to join their Section in the Procurement Contracts and Support Branch. The Branch is responsible for providing specialist procurement and contract management advice, guidance and support to business areas across the Department and ABF under an Account Management Model. Account Managers assist with procurement sourcing, planning and engagement activities within their allocated business area. PCSB also delivers a range of services including grant administration, contract verification, procurement reporting, policy development, procurement professionalisation and development.

Overview of the Roles:

- Management of the Departments AusTender presence including, review of contract data prior to publication, publication of Approaches to Market and opening of tender boxes.
- Management of the Departments GrantConnect presence including, review of grant award data prior to publication, publication of grant opportunities, forecast opportunities and downloading applications.
- Providing procurement and contract reporting advice.
- Developing and managing contract reporting.
- Meeting both internal and external mandatory procurement reporting obligations, such as Senate Order reports, Senate Estimates, Indigenous Procurement Policy reporting, providing data and information for Questions on Notice (QoNs) and media requests.

Role Specific Duties and Responsibilities:

- Undertake internal and external procurement related reporting eg: Senate Order reports, Indigenous Procurement Policy, management reports regarding the mandatory reporting of contracts and amendments on AusTender within 42 days of entering into a contract
- Ensuring the reporting teams external reporting obligations eg: Senate Order, AusTender publications, Questions on Notice) are met on time
- Assist in the review, development and implementation of procurement systems, strategies, policies and processes to assist with the preparation and implementation of the Section's key performance measures
- Lead the Departments AusTender presence including, publication of Approaches to Market, Annual Procurement Plan and opening of tender boxes
- Administration of the Departments GrantConnect presence for accurate reporting of grant opportunities and awards.

To be Successful in the Role:

- Strong attention to detail, ability to manage multiple tasks and work within deadlines
- Ability to work effectively as a part of a team and to build collaborative partnerships with subject matter experts and stakeholders
- Ability to exercise sound judgement and to work quickly when required
- Strong written and oral communication skills including the ability to write clear and concise documents for a range of audiences
- Strong focus on providing excellent customer service to both internal and external stakeholders
- Proficiency in the use of Excel and Word is essential
- SAP (or equivalent) Experience
- Certificate IV in Government (Procurement and Contracting) or willingness to obtain is required
- Knowledge of (or the ability to quickly acquire) the Commonwealth Procurement Rules and Commonwealth Grant Rules and Guidelines.
