Have you ever wanted to work as a Vice President with responsibility for Asset Management and Investment across a diverse portfolio of Commercial Real Estate and Hotels? Our client is a leading International Developer who has an exciting opportunity for a passionate and enthusiastic individual who is eager to take the lead as a VP of Asset Management and Investment.
Based in the CBD, Melbourne, the role will help define, plan and execute strategies for investment into the existing portfolio as well as the acquisition of new real estate assets.
Key responsibilities will involve conducting market reviews and overseeing feasibility studies to ensure relevant investment opportunities are aligned with overall business strategies. The organization is a leading developer of Commercial Real Estate and Hotels, based in Singapore and with operations across APAC.
The ideal candidate will be someone who has significant asset management or investment/development experience in a hospitality or property environment.
The role:

- Plan acquisition strategies for the real estate portfolio including sourcing and securing deals from conception to close
- Work alongside the wider leadership team to define long term business goals and ensure adherence to said targets
- Develop asset management plans including evaluating investment opportunities and conduct market feasibility studies
- Explore JV or M/A opportunities as is required and to ensure any such opportunity is fully vetted
- Support residential business arm in all aspects of property acquisitions and be responsible for liaising with commercial agents and developers
- Contributing to firms investment management strategy through research and market intelligence, including keeping current on the competitive and regulatory landscape and best practice
Key Requirements:
- 10+ years of development or asset management experience, ideally within a Hospitality or Property Development environment
- Educated in; Real Estate, Business or Finance
- Based or comfortable with traveling to the CBD, Melbourne
- Comfortable occasionally working on Singapore business hours (-3hrs)
- Full work rights in Australia
The salary range for this position is: $250K + $275K (inclusive of super).
