Job Description
The Instructional Designer's primary responsibility is to support the design and development of new and existing content to meet the skills of the teams across the organisation. The Instructional Designer will also be responsible for:
- Assisting the Learning & Development Manager with the creation of content for the skills of the future, including formal online training and instructor-led content
- Developing learning content based on needs identified for the group
- Designing all new content in a blended delivery approach - including slide packs, trainer guides and workshop activities
- Working with external training providers to shortlist appropriate courses based on learning needs
- Assist with the configuration and maintenance of new training systems where appropriate
The Successful Applicant
The successful candidate:
- Must have experience in a Learning/ Instructional Designer role
- Experience writing content, designing, and developing learning programs for a broad range of audiences
- Must have experience working with subject matter experts and collaborating with other others to develop content
- Must have experience with LMS platforms
- Generalist experience in digital learning, including Articulate Rise (nice to have)
- Experience in video filming and editing (nice to have)
