Job summary
The Department of Communities brings together the services and functions of disability services, child protection and family support, housing, community initiatives and regional services reform.Applicants are advised of the recently announced mandatory vaccination policy for a majority of occupations and workforces in Western Australia. From 1 December 2021, Department of Communities (Communities) is impacted by this policy.
In line with the Directions made by the Chief Health Officer (CHO) under the Public Health Act 2016 (WA), to be eligible for appointment to a position within Communities, applicants must provide evidence that they are fully vaccinated (unless a valid medical exemption is granted by the CHO). Fully vaccinated applicants are also required to receive a third dose by 5 February 2022 or within one month of becoming eligible for the third dose.
You may be requested to confirm your vaccination or valid exemption status at any point in this recruitment process.
The Opportunity
The positions being advertised are within the Statewide Services directorate of our frontline service delivery division. The Statewide Services directorate designs, implements and delivers services and programs to support out frontline responses across the State. The Client Services team and the Service Design and Operational Improvement team are critical to designing, implementing and supporting corporately sponsored projects and business changes in partnership with both our frontline and other service delivery external partners. These teams are at the cutting edge of creating efficiencies for frontline and service delivery focussing on centralisation and integration, including opportunities to streamline and integrate business.
