What if you could put the customer at the heart of everything you do?
As a SOE SCCM Engineer, you will utilise your experience maintaining the current SOE environments. The key technologies you will be dealing with are SCCM 2010, Office 2016, Windows 7/8.1/10 SOE. The position comes with a diverse range of responsibilities and challenges, including patching compliance, Active Directory and Group Policy management, and assisting the Technical Application Owner with aspects of the application packaging request process.
You'll be responsible for: Maintain and support 900+ physical and virtual workstations, incident and request queues Software distribution and patch management Respond to Emergency Patching requests within SLA Create and maintain Task Sequences Manage change implementation for workstation fleet Active Directory and Group Policy management App-V and MSI Packaging experience required Providing 2nd and 3rd level support for a range of issues that get escalated through the Service Desk. Conduct system audits and maintenance to ensure the integrity of the application environment. Provide On Call support System upgrades - keeping Application versions up to date Work closely with the Technical Application Owner in the application packaging request process
Important to your success: Knowledge of CCM and a better understanding of packaging Demonstrated experiece of supporting large scale windows Server and Desktop Experience in a technology role managing configuration management infrastructure and Applications Experience in security patch servers whether they are in AVC
