Your new position
- Provide a range of program and project support and administrative services to the Program office and Project Delivery team
- Lead the secretariat function to prepare progress reports, presentations and submissions for consideration
- Manage invoices for processing
- Provide schedule and financial management support services to project and program officers working in accordance with the departments monthly and annual reporting and review cycles
- Monitor and report on state-wide and regional projects initiating adjustments and/or remedial action as required
- Effectively utilise various in-house project and program support systems
- Administrative support to project managers
About You
To be considered for this role you would have skills & experience in the following to be a successful Project Manager.
- Demonstrated experience supporting the delivery of large scale projects particularly in the transport sector, from reporting, costing and presentations.
- Demonstrated experience supporting multi-disciplinary project teams to drive and deliver the required outcome
- Demonstrated experience in identifying and managing project risks and issues
- Experience building and maintaining strong stakeholder relationships in complex and dynamic project environment
- Able to be proactive and make recommendations for improvements
- Proven record in achieving deadlines
- Able to research and analysis data and make decisions based on findings
