About Department
We are seeking two Physiotherapists to join our team at Central Gippsland Health (CGH). These positions offer the opportunity to obtain experience with a mixed caseload, across hospital, community and aged care settings in a thriving and vibrant rural health setting.
The CGH Allied Health Department is made up of about 60 professionals in Physiotherapy/Exercise Physiology, Dietetics, Occupational Therapy, Speech Pathlogy, Podiatry and Social Work. The department covers a diverse workload over both community, aged and acute settings. Acute caseload includes working over Critical Care Unit and Short Stay, Emergency Department, Medical and Surgical wards and Womens Health and Peadiatrics. Community caseload covers both group and individual based rehabilitation, outreach at Loch Sport and Rosedale and home-based therapy. CGH offers acute orthopaedics with both total hip and knee replacements happening on site. CGH services four aged care sites in the area.

About the Role
Other specialties provided through CGH Physiotherapy include Paediatrics, Hand Therapy, Critical Care Unit, Acute Medical and Surgical, Womens Health, Inpatient Rehabilitation, Acute Orthopaedics, Emergency Department, Community Rehabilitation Groups, Community Outpatients, Vestibular Rehabilitation, Exercise Physiology Services, and Short Term Restorative Care. The successful applicants will work in a rotating caseload as part of a large team (17 staff) comprising of Grade 1 therapists, Grade 2 therapists, A Grade 3 therapist, Exercise Physiologists, Allied Health Assistants and a Department Head.
