Our client is a family owned and operated automotive glass business servicing Adelaide for over 40 years. Their team of professional glass repairers, fitters and tinters pride themselves to deliver their services with efficiency, honesty and integrity. They operate their services on site, off site locations and to major dealerships in Adelaide and are extremely reputable with insurance companies.

The Role:

Working in a close knit team, you will be responsible for the coordination and scheduling of their services the role would satisfy one who loves being part of a team that strives to help as many people and to ensure their process runs as smoothly as possible.

The role requires one with technical interest and understanding in the automotive industry, strong coordination and communication skills and the ability to work in a fast paced, high pressure environment.

Hours of work: Monday to Friday 7.30am - 5.30pm

Duties include but not limited to:

- Welcome customers on site
- Assess and quote work and services required
- Book jobs in and allocate appropriate fitter required
- Ensure correct specification for the the job is done
- Schedule fitters for multiple off site jobs efficiently
- Follow up on services and communicate with fitters and customers effectively
- Invoice clients and ensure payment is received on completion of the job
- Handling high volume inbound and outbound calls.
- Delivering professional and excellent customer service.
- Providing empathetic support to our customers in high stress situations.
- Managing insurance repair claims from start to finish.

The ideal candidate should possess:

- Ability to work in fast paced environment and take initiative
- Ability to take accurate and critical information communicate with the team
- Strong verbal and written communication with multiple stakeholders (internal + external)
- Ability to work under pressure to deliver on customer expectations and confident with having difficult conversations with customers
- Experience with coordinating repairs/ services in facilities (highly regarded)
- Demonstrates attention to detail and high level of accuracy
- Excellent time management skills - ability to prioritise multiple tasks
- Natural problem solver
- Strong computer and MS Office suite skills and Excel essential
- Experience in the automotive repair or transport industry is highly desirable
