As an experienced Communication Officer, working as APS 4 you will assist with writing and publishing a range of materials including web content and presentations. This involves proofing content and drafting web publishing requests.
Your new role
As an APS4 Communications Officer you will assist with writing and publishing a range of materials including web content and presentations. This involves proofing content and drafting web publishing requests.
Your responsibilities will include:
- Undertake procedural, clerical, administrative support or operational tasks.
- Review and quality assure products for external audiences.
- Assist with maintaining the medical device components of the TGA website, including content and structure.
- Develop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) and business processes based on departmental requirements and the Quality Management System.
- Assist in the delivery of projects under the direction of higher classification levels.
- Other duties as directed.
About you
You will bring the following experience to your new role:
- Experience in, or ability to quickly acquire skills with TRIM and GovTeams
- Strong written communications skills, including editing
- Experience working within a communications team. Experience in, or ability to quickly acquire skills with TRIM and web publishing, especially Drupal
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, Excel and Adobe Acrobat
- Sound judgement, attention to detail and organisational skills and ability to take responsibility for work, prioritising tasks and producing quality outputs to meet tight deadlines
- Proven ability to produce work requiring little or no revision before finalisation
- Maintains a flexible attitude, understanding that priorities may change without notice and able to focus on new priorities in accordance with the strategic direction
- Have an AFP National Police Certificate which is no greater than 12 months old.
