I-MED Radiology are pleased to be recruiting for a Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor in Box Hill, Melbourne to join the team. You will provide strong leadership to the Nuclear Medicine Team on a full-time permanent basis. If these are the kind of values you also strive for, and you have proven leadership experience, then we would like to talk to you.As the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Supervisor, you will play a pivotal role in professional and operational leadership and management of the Nuclear Medicine Services in a newly expanded department within a busy hospital practice. Ensuring the delivery of high quality, efficient, professional, and friendly services to patients and referees, and a commercial focus that provides both improved clinical and financial outcomes.
Key accountabilities include: Plan and manage daily technical staff workforce requirements across the BU through appropriate staff rostering, annual leave planning & sick and other leave as required in conjunction with the clinic Nuclear Medicine Chiefs Oversee the daily provision of appropriate clinical supervision and reporting for nuclear medicine and PET studies throughout QLD on a day-to-day basis Manage, develop, and mentor technologist staff and provide clinical guidance in the clinic Ensure outstanding service delivery and provide supervision of the day-to-day management of the Nuclear Medicine Services Provide quality improvement initiatives, and review and refine work practices to improve clinical and financial outcomes Perform routine and specialised medical imaging procedures to the highest professional standards as required Establish and maintain strong, cooperative relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.
Key selection criteria: Degree in Nuclear Medicine Technology or equivalent Diagnostic Computed Tomography (CT) certification Current AH PRA registration with the Medical Radiation Practice Board of Australia Current Radiation Use Licence (State specific) Ability to manage, coach and lead clinic staff in a busy and dynamic environment Excellent interpersonal skills and demonstrated ability to communicate effectively with radiologists, patients, staff and other medical and non-medical personnel verbally and in writing Strong work ethic and commitment to the culture and values of I-MED Radiology Network

Covid-19 Vaccination Policy and Influenza (Flu) Vaccine Requirements.
I-MED has a policy which requires all I-MED staff to be vaccinated and boosted against COVID-19 unless they have a valid medical exemption, however each state may have applicable Public Health Orders with additional requirements, and this will be discussed during the interview process.
In addition, the Victorian Department of Health has recently mandated the flu vaccine for public and private hospital employees from 16 August 2022. All Victorian I-MED staff who work in or visit a hospital site must have had a flu vaccination in the last 12 months by 16 August unless they have a valid medical exemption.
The successful candidate for this role will be required to comply with I-MED's policy, any applicable Government public health orders and any hospital requirements. During our interview process, we will be asking you to please confirm your ability to meet the above-mentioned requirements of the role.
