Job summary
Our firm is expanding and were looking for a part time legal accounts clerk or bookkeeper to help manage the firms office and trust account bookkeeping. This role may even suit a bookkeeper looking to grow their business.About the role:
This is a part time role of around 15 hours per week.
Duties will include:Trust receipts, payments, bank reconciliations, journals, transfersOffice receipts, payments, reconciliations in Xero, credit card reconciliationsLiaising with external accountant, bookkeeper and auditorTrust account complianceEnd of month management reportingPayroll and superannuationBAS lodgements
About YouYou will have experience with legal trust accounting and XeroYou will have experience in preparing and lodging BAS and superannuation returnsStrong technical skills including experience in using MS Office Suite and legal practice management systems ie Leap, Setts Plus or similar A positive attitude and strong work ethicGood communication skillsThe ability to prioritize and work as part of a teamBe well organised and able to deal with multiple tasks and competing deadlines
