Reporting to our Settlements Team Leader within our Dealer and Customer Services Department you will be engaged on a fixed term contract basis and provided with full training. An individual with solid administrative and some accounts experience will thrive in this position working amongst a collegiate and supportive team.
As a Settlements Officer you will be responsible for:
Settlement of Contracts: Process contracts in a quick, efficient & accurate mannerOrganise tax invoices for paymentConsistent and accurate identification of inconsistencies with system information vs. documentationClearly communicate errors or documentation issues with dealersIncome and expenses verification
Allocation of Funds: Allocate monies to correct recipients and prepare Dealer Tax Invoices for payment, to a high level accuracy rateMake clear notes for accounts processingRecheck and identify issues with payment details submitted
Dealer Service:Take queue calls and process dealer requests efficiently and in a timely mannerRemain logged into the phone queue as requiredIdentify dealer needs and offer solutions to problems with accountsCommunicate with dealers in a professional and friendly manner
Administrative Duties:Assist in Retail Credit when requiredAssist Collections when requiredAssist Customer Service when requiredThe successful candidate will have:
Recently completed qualifications in Finance, alternatively, experience in the financial services or banking industry1-2 years' experience in a customer service role is essentialExcellent interpersonal and communication skillsHigh attention to detailAbility to work in a team environmentA motivation to learnEnjoy working in a fast-paced and high volume work environmentBe readily adaptable to change and challenging problems
