Job Description
Key Responsibilities:
- Responsible for ensuring that all Corporate and Local reporting deadlines are adhered to
- Liaison with ATO, internal & external auditors and tax advisers
- Preparation of required documents for the annual income tax return
- Preparation & lodgment of GST, FBT, WHT, payroll tax and R&D
- Tax provision calculations
- Assisting with Interim and year end audit preparation, timely provision of information for the audit and sign off
- Assisting in preparation of Consolidated financial statements (Statutory Accounts)
- Fixed asset management and capex reporting
- Corporate legal & risk reporting quarterly or as required
- Co-ordinate insurance policy requirements
- Completion of ABS surveys
- Risk assessments and reporting
- Workcover lodgment for all states
- Project work as required
The Successful Applicant
Successful candidate:
- Degree in Accounting / Finance
- CPA/CA Qualified or near completion
- 3-5 years' experience in a similar role or as a Financial Accountant
- Strong attention to detail
- Experience in a manufacturing environment, medium to large organisation highly desirable
- Ability to communicate across the business on all levels
- Excellent technical accounting experience
- Exceptional computer skills (including excel, reporting tools, experience in SAP ideally)
