Job summary
Our client is a well-known American-based company with offices in Brisbane. They have an urgent need for an experienced Business Analyst for a 6-month contract (with likely extensions).This role is all about developing great documentation and process flow mapping across a suite of approximately 80 products and making sure there is single source of process truth.
Key to success will be working with internal and external customers to gather the information needed to map and document complex business processes.
What you'll need to succeed3+ years experience as a BA and a capacity to pick things up quickly so you can hit the ground runningClear documentation experience including development of both internal and external facing process flows, documentation and how to guidesProven ability to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment where no two days are the same and the business is constantly evolvingPrior experience with Business Process mapping using tools such as UML and BPMNDemonstrated ability to establish positive relationships with business partners and third-party stakeholdersExceptional interpersonal skills, including active listening, negotiation and influencing customers and stakeholdersAn ability to work well with a varied stakeholder audience to elicit ideas and document processes effectivelyProblem analysis and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently as well as with a teamBABoK and CBAP certifications are viewed favorably
You will be a person with a customer-centric focus who can deal well with different personalities using empathy and understanding, and objectively document processes and information.
