Job Description
- Change analysis:
- Develop program and regional strategic and detailed change plans
- Facilitate and document impact assessments for all involved and impacted.
- Support and promote change management strategies that are based on situational analysis, and a clear understanding of the details of changes, and those impacted.
- Identify and provide mitigation strategies for the change impacts and plan for opportunities.
- Reporting:
- Prepare a range of written materials including reporting, executive correspondence, briefing notes, speech notes, external stakeholder communications or presentations and information papers concerned with the work package.
- Stakeholder Engagement:
- Develop program and regional communication and engagement plans
- Collaborate closely with the relevant stakeholders to ensure the desired business outcomes are achieved.
- Ensure change activities meet the associated industrial and consultative requirements.
- Work closely with Subject Matter Experts and Business Representatives from various regions to understand transition requirements, including processes and practices.
- Develop various communication artefacts.
- Undertake communication activities detailed in approved communication plans.
- Training:
- Develop artefacts and knowledge transfer materials related to the new operating model.
- Design and facilitate training sessions with a range of stakeholders and staff.
- Transition to BAU:
- Develop business policies, procedures, and role statements to embed changes.
- Ensure appropriate governance has been applied to embed change.
- Develop and implement a detailed transition plan for each region impacted.
- Manage all change activities throughout transition implementation.
- Be responsible for the overall effectiveness of change management plans in relation to stakeholder management, communication, training, coaching, and acceptance.
- Manage time lines, priorities and reporting related to change activities.
The Successful Applicant
Skills and Abilities Required
- At least 5 years of experience in Organisational Change Management in organisational design and operating model change projects.
- Experience leading change that incorporates cultural, organisational structure, policy and process change; experience creating and maintaining accurate and detailed change management artefacts which are tailored to the Organisation.
- High level of proficiency in applying endorsed change management methodologies, such as Prosci (ADKAR), Kotter's, Appreciative Inquiry and tailoring strategies to the specific change.
- Strong written and oral communication skills including ability to establish relationships, facilitate workshops, both face to face and online and undertake presentations.
- Experience working with all stakeholder levels and leveraging organisational mechanism to reach stakeholders;
- A self-starter, takes initiative, able to work autonomously, ability to manage their time lines and competing priorities.
Highly Desirable Requirements
- Experience in managing organisational design and structural change projects
- Prosci certification, a member of the Change Management Institute or other change qualifications
- Demonstrated experience in software packages such as; Visio, O365 products, and SharePoint.
