job detailsAttention commercial professionals in the civil infrastructure industry! Have you ever wanted to work with an established civil infrastructure player with an unrivalled reputation in project delivery? Would you like to work on some of the most prestigious earthworks and streetscape projects in Victoria? My client is an established contractor, working across metro and regional Victoria projects valued from $1m-20m. I am working with my client exclusively, in order to source a knowledgeable and practical supervisor.
Reporting to one of the regions leading Operation managers, these are things you will be tasked with doing:

- Strong emphasis on bulk earthworks, streetscape, roadworks, drainage, cost / program planning, OH&S & compliance.
- Experience working on concrete structures and slabs
- Supervising and mentoring all operators in the business.
- Support engineering solutions and contribute to client requirements
- Service inspections and relevant research for engineering strategies
- You will be part of established site teams with ample support and guidance - all these companies have multiple supervisors of different build interfaces, as well as site based PCs/Site Engineers, CAs and full time site based PM
- Fully documented projects though your specific expertise in structures, finishes and/or services will be utilised in planning/programming and value engineering process
- Fully accredited systems/processes - you will be utilising site safety software and well developed document management systems.
In essence, if you have worked in a similar role for a civil infrastructure company to a high level then these responsibilities should be second nature. As well as working in a similar role, my client is keen to look at candidates with the following:
- The ability to influence and converse freely with workers on site, managers in the business & board level directors.
- Ambition, drive & the hunger to progress and better yourself.
- A stable track record in supervision of commercial building projects within Australia with strong references essential
- You must be able to demonstrate best practice in OHS - Certificate III/IV preferred
- An ability to programme, schedule and sequence trades effectively
- Experience in utilising site safety and/or document management software such as Hammertech, Procore, Aconex or similar
