About the team
The Sydney Metro's Corporate Service division supports the whole organisation, including operational and project teams with best-in-class IT, Technology, Procurement, HR, Financial Management, and Communications functions. We partner closely with the business and with senior stakeholders, media, and community groups to drive performance, build relationships and manage our exemplary reputation.
The opportunity
Right now, we have an opportunity for a Stakeholder Management Advisor to join our Corporate Services division. This position will undertake various activities to support and deliver effective stakeholder engagement strategies for Sydney Metro, the Communication and Engagement functional group, and projects across the organisation.
You will provide a range of engagement support and advisory services, including developing a program of activities to build Sydney Metro's reputation amongst senior and industry stakeholders.
In this role, you will work with teams across the agency to prepare material to assist with briefing senior and industry stakeholders, including speaking points and presentations. The role also supports the organisation by preparing award submissions and associated materials, and maintains the stakeholder database

What you will be involved in:
· Keeping up to date with project issues and priorities and with changes in senior and industry stakeholders relevant to Sydney Metro
· Providing knowledge and intelligence at the right level of detail to promote strategic stakeholder management
· Develop strong relationships with relevant senior stakeholders to support the achievement of all project and program key objectives and the NSW Government's commitment to develop and maintain broader stakeholder understanding and support
· Maintain project-related databases for recording and managing stakeholder information and liaise with project teams to ensure the identification of relevant senior and industry stakeholders.
About you
You are tertiary qualified in communications, public relations, or an appropriate related discipline and/or have relevant industry experience. You will demonstrate expertise at a high level to ensure the successful delivery of strategic stakeholder communication in a complex and matrix environment.
You can work autonomously, research and manage communications projects, work across a number of teams at a high level, and have excellent knowledge and experience of the workings of Government leading to improved project outcomes.
Salary and benefits
