This role is responsible for the evaluation and operation of complex security functions, services and activities designed to ensure the organization maintains its risk at desired levels. With a specific focus to operationalise and develop the organisations PAM (Privileged Access Management) service.
Key Responsibilities:

- Understand, review, operate and develop the PAM service by supporting and developing existing security controls and processes.
- Develop PAM reporting metrics and processes, ensure consistent delivery and enhancements/uplifts.
- Guide and support service provider groups to ensure positive outcomes that enhance the overall security posture.
- Assist in determining the baseline security configuration standards for systems.
- Contribute to security technology lifecycle activities as they relate to validating security configurations, reviewing security technologies, and maintaining a familiarity with market security products.
- Experience with cloud solutions that includes the security controls offered within the cloud context, and knowledge of third-party products that would contribute to the securing, governance and operations related to a cloud environment.
Our ideal candidate will bring:
- Minimum 5 years experience in an IT role, with a minimum 3 years experience in a similar role - specifically managing security controls.
- Industry certifications such as CISA, CISM and CISSP are preferred but not mandatory.
- Significant experience in enhancing, maintaining and running PAM security technologies.
- Proven track record and strong experience in maintaining and running other security technologies such as Identity & Access Management (IAM), Vulnerability Management, Data Protection, Encryption and so on.
- Good knowledge of technology across applications, databases, operating systems, hypervisors, IP networks, storage networks and backups.
- Understanding of regulatory requirements for financial institutions such as APRA, ASIC, Monetary Authority of Singapore (MAS), Privacy and GDPR.
- Knowledge of security standards and frameworks such as ISO 27000, NIST and ITIL.
- Strong technical experience and track record in delivering and uplifting security controls in order to reduce risk.
- Experience in working in a multi-vendor environment would be advantageous.
- Experience in securing cloud-based solutions, preferably Microsoft Azure.
