We currently have a great leadership opportunity within the Trade and Working Capital (TWC) Team. As the NSW & ACT Specialised Business Executive, you will support & lead a team of Leaders, Specialised Banking Managers and Field Examiners within Trade Working Capital team. Reporting to our energised and supportive leader, the Executive, Trade and Working Capital, you will be responsible in ensuring the team pro-actively identify and maximise all referral opportunities. You will ensure a significant proportion of each Specialised Banking Managers time is spent on business development, relationship management and liaising with internal stakeholders to ensure we support our existing customer base. We are here to help our customers grow and prosper, and they rely on our expertise to help them achieve their goals.
Some key responsibilities for this role include, but not limited to: Develop, lead and execute strategies for business growth with a strong focus on NTB business development to ensure we protect, deepen and grow client relationships. Lead from the front, be out in the market regularly across your region supporting your team and actively sourcing and growing client relationships. People leadership: continue enhance our positive culture and build on the capability of the team & actively contribute to building and delivering a positive State & National culture and engagement. Coaching, monitoring, supervision of direct reports to ensure they have the skills and knowledge to perform their role to be compliant with external legislation, bank standards and internal operating policies and procedures relevant to the position (includes AFSL, CQIB, Continuing Education, Learning). Jointly accountable with TWC LT for leadership and delivery of the TWC National performance as measured through customer advocacy, financial outcomes, risk metrics and employee engagement. Execute business plan and sales initiatives to increase sales & business activity. Overview all high risk invoice finance files, which can be defined as those connections that are under Strategic Business Services management. Manage the recovery of outstanding TWC liabilities in conjunction with SBS/Australian Credit/ TWC Product Management and the Bank's professional advisors to ensure bad debts are minimised.

What were looking for in our future talent: Strong experience within Trade & Working Capital or evidence of a deep understanding of the area. Depth and breadth of leadership of a team, ideally with functional and professional diversity. Strategic customer relationship and operational management e.g. maximising income mix, pipeline management, prospecting and acquisition, account planning, workload planning, etc. Strong Business Development experience and coaching teams to succeed Managing a business with revenue and cost accountabilities. Experience in both strategy development and execution. Demonstrated ability to contribute to strong performance culture and capabilities of team Experience in building own and enterprise brand in the external markets
