job detailsRandstad is currently recruiting for a permanent Medical Administrator position for a busy diagnostic specialist clinic on the Gold Coast.
This is a full time role - however will offer part time for the right person
The successful candidate will ideally have industry experience and will be responsible for helping to maintain the smooth running of the practice as part of a wider administrative team.
Key Duties:
- Organise appointments for patients, both face to face and over the phone
- Maintain accurate patient records
- Field inbound phone calls to the appropriate team member where required
- Issue invoices to patients
- Assist doctors and nurses with administrative tasks such as filing, photocopying and data entry
- Maintain reception area and ensure patients are kept well informed of delays etc that may occur
- Ideally you will have -
- Previous experience in a medical administration position
- Exceptional communication skills
- Excellent customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and work in a fast paced environment
- Basic understanding of excel
- Strong administration skills
- High attention to detail is key due to the sensitive information that needs to be recorded
