This international Tier 1 Oil & Gas drilling contractor has been in operation for over 30 years. They have grown to be one of the world's largest and advanced organisations that have a strong international presence, have built a solid reputation by their reliable performance, superior services and their ability to outperform competitors. Due to unprecedented growth in Australia and multiple contracts won with multi-billion dollar organisations, they are in demand for experienced Rig or Heavy Industry Diesel Mechanic to support the Onshore Drilling team.
The Position
The Rig Mechanic is responsible for all mechanical systems on the drilling rig and camp facility. Ensures that all mechanical systems, plant and equipment is safe and complies with relevant standards and codes.
The roles are open for multiple sites across Australia are ongoing/fulltime and 3:3 week on/off rosters, mobilisation from your home location (there is also capacity for ad hoc work). There are current long term, ongoing contracts in place with multiple sites across Australia.
Qualifications, Tickets and Licenses

- Trade Qualification (Min Cert III *essential)
- Current, Unrestricted Manual Drivers License (*essential)
- Experience in Oil & Gas Drilling highly regarded
- Otherwise, Heavy Industry experience with exposure to high speed rotating equipment is also advantageous
- Confined Space, Work at Height, LV Rescue required
- Able to Pass Pre Employment Medical
- Able to work 3:3 FIFO roster (ad hoc work also available)
About You

Whilst this is a role working on Oil & Gas Drilling rigs, experience in heavy industry such as Mining, Production Facilities, Power Systems also advantageous
