Come and join our energetic and dynamic workplace and be a part of an entrepreneurial company that is constantly growing!Oasis @ Newman is looking for a part time Administration Assistant/Hotel Receptionist for our fast growing business. With an office situated in Subiaco, you will work with our small team on bookings/reservations for our accommodation facility in Newman, WA.
Our accommodation facility Oasis @ Newman is located in Newman, Western Australia. Primarily serving the mining industry, our clients include both large and small mining companies as well as others working in the area with 95% of our clientele being FIFO.
With 585 rooms, pool, laundries, gym, restaurant, bar and recreation rooms, Oasis @ Newman is your home in the Pilbara and we are looking for a dedicated person to join our team. While the role will be part-time in our Subiaco office, there will also be an opportunity for 8-10 weeks travel per year up to our site to work with our amazing on-site team.
We have a fantastic work environment with a friendly team who are so much fun to work with. We love a good morning tea and a cheeky beverage on a Friday afternoon and youll never find the cupboards empty of chocolates. We are very team oriented with everyone pitching in and helping each other out when required and would love someone to join us with this same mentality and positive attitude.
The role is a diverse office role including opportunity for more growth as we continue to expand.
Duties will include:Managing booking/reservation enquiries via phone and emailUsing our RMS booking software to manage reservationsWorking with our Corporate Accounts Manager and Business Manager in our Subiaco office Helping with Accounts Receivable (reconciling payments, following up overdue invoices, sending invoices)Training of employeesImplementing proceduresDeveloping relationships with our clientsSocial Media & Marketing (Working with other team members to produce)
Whilst experience with RMS or in a booking/reservations role is desired, it is not a requirement. We are happy to train the right person with the right attitude.
Must Haves:A good positive attitudeExcellent computer skills (must know basic Microsoft Suite Word, Excel, Outlook)Excellent communication & customer service skillsProblem solving abilitiesA desire to be a team player and be invested in the growth of our company
