UniSQ Library Services supports the Universitys commitment to the pursuit of excellence in learning, teaching, research and community service through the provision of high-quality information services and environments. The Learning and Research team with Library Services works with academic staff to support their teaching and research, and with students to support them to develop the skills to succeed at University.
We are currently seeking two motivated team members to provide para-professional support and services to facilitate the implementation of Course Readings to support the UniSQs new Academic Calendar. These appointments are for a fixed-term period of 12 months, with one position offered on a full-time basis and the second on a fractional (0.5 FTE) basis.
Positions can be based at either our Toowoomba, Springfield or Ipswich campus.
What youll do:
You will be instrumental in:
Undertaking high quality editorial level entry, checking, moderation, auditing, and management of metadata in library systems and repositories with a focus on creating new courses and reading lists and maintaining existing reading lists;
Utilising your knowledge and experience to provide efficient and timely administrative support, and troubleshoot problems with metadata quality, management and data curation;
Ensuring Copyright and contractual compliance of items uploaded to Course Readings; and
Undertaking data cleansing activities through the use of Alma Course Reading reports.
What will help you succeed
Key to your success in the role will be your demonstrated experience and ability to work within a dedicated team and your strong interpersonal and communication skills. Additionally, you will have A Diploma of Library and Information Services or Certificate IV in Library, Information and Curation Services or a combination of relevant experience and/or education Experience or ability to provide administrative and support services within an academic library context; An ability to solve diverse problems by applying judgement and initiative, based on a thorough knowledge of library and university procedures and policies; and Ability to work within a dedicated team, driven with a desire to enhance the student experience.

Salary: Total remuneration range of $82,688 to $93,799 pa (includes salary range of $69,867 to $79,239 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
Fractional (0.5 FTE) fixed-term appointment (18 hrs/week)
Fractional appointment: Total remuneration range of $41,344 to $46, 899 pa (includes salary range of $34,933 to $39,619 pa, employer superannuation contributions of 17% of salary and annual leave loading)
