Are you a skilled HR Specialist with a focus on compliance and quality, seeking a new opportunity with growth potential? Michael Page NSW is expanding its Temporary Business division and is looking for a dedicated HR Specialist to join our Compliance and Quality Team on an 18-month minimum contract. This position offers the possibility of becoming a permanent role, making it an exciting long-term opportunity.
Position: HR Specialist - Compliance and Quality Team
Contract Length: Minimum 18 months (with potential for extention and possible permanent conversion)
Location: Flexible locations across CBD and Parramatta
Hybrid Work Environment: 1 day per week in office
Salary: $80,000 per annum + Superannuation
Job Description
Responsibilities:
As an HR Specialist for the HR/Compliance Team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring our organisation adheres to HR regulations and maintains the highest quality standards. Your responsibilities will include, but are not limited to:
- Managing the HR and compliance requirements of our field temporary workforce Australia wide ensuring legal compliance.
- Providing expert guidance and support to managers, consultants, and employees on HR compliance matters.
- Collaborating and partnering with departments to develop and implement compliance strategies and initiatives.
- Assisting in the development and delivery of compliance training programs.
- Overseeing employee record-keeping processes to ensure accuracy and confidentiality.
The Successful Applicant
Requirements:
- Experience in HR, with a focus on compliance.
- Consideration will be given to candidates with payroll/award experience.
- Ideally, a degree or currently studying in HR/IR/Legal fields (not mandatory but highly desirable).
- A minimum of 1 year of relevant experience.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Training also provided in the role to learn all facets around HR, IR, WHS, Quality and compliance.
