job detailsRandstad is currently working with a company that designs, develops, and manufactures state of the art active phased radar systems. This company has a longstanding partnership with Defence, and undertakes research and development activity into all aspects of active electronically scanned array technologies that are critical to many Defence capabilities. Their hardware engineering team is looking for an experienced electronics and hardware engineer to contribute to the development of their hardware and firmware systems.
This is a permanent full-time role based in Canberra with flexible working arrangements and great employee benefits.
About the Role
- Design FPGA based signal processing circuit boards.
- Contribute to the design and development of next generation Radar and ancillary systems.
- Contribute to the development of hardware and firmware systems.
- Participate in testing, verification, and integration of circuits and assemblies from prototype to production and deployment.
- Participate in research and development activities and design reviews of various radar systems.
About you
- A tertiary qualification in the Electronics Engineering, Computer Science or a related discipline.
- Experience with electronic circuit design and PCB design.
- Experience with analog and digital circuit designs.
- Substantial experience in FPGA design with System Verilog and VHDL.
- Knowledge of embedded programming languages such as C/C++/Python.
