Job Description
About the role:
As an Accountant, you will be responsible for property accounting and corporate accounting tasks, as well as people management duties. This includes preparing reports, assisting with budgets and audits, managing finances, and providing training and support to other accountants.
Key responsibilities tasks:
Property Accounting
- Performing month-end procedures, such as preparing income journals and reconciling bank accounts
- Preparing monthly, quarterly, and annual reports for property owners and managing GST reconciliations
- Assisting Property Managers in preparing budgets and forecasts
- Contributing to the audit process for each property and managing AR/AP
Corporate Accounting:
- Prepare monthly payroll journals and reconciliations for Australia.
- Process monthly GST reconciliations for the group, inter-company reconciliations, and corporate credit cards.
- Manage debtor and arrears reporting and contribute to the annual corporate budget.
- Support the annual corporate audit.

- Currently studying CA/CPA
- Experience in a similar accounting role
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excel Skills including formulas (pivot tables, vlookups)
- Professional presentation and strong communication
- Exceptional time management skills, ability to effectively prioritise tasks to ensure timely completion of all projects.
- Ability to meet deadlines while maintaining a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
